College of Applied Sciences at Hajjah University Launches Field Training for Cybersecurity Students at the Bank of Yemen and Kuwait

Under the guidance of the Deanship of the College of Applied Sciences at Hajjah University, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Yousef Al-Sabah, conducted a field visit today, Sunday, Dhu al-Qi'dah 09, 1447 AH, corresponding to April 26, 2026 AD, to the Bank of Yemen and Kuwait – Hajjah Branch, to launch the practical training program for third-level students in the Cybersecurity Department.

The visit was carried out in accordance with the distribution memos issued by the Dean of the College, Dr. Mutahar Hamid, which organize the students into training groups at the bank. This comes within the framework of joint cooperation agreements between the university and banking/financial institutions to link theoretical knowledge with practical application.

The delegation was received by the Bank Branch Manager, Eng. Ayman Al-Ba'adani, who welcomed the Hajjah University students, affirming the bank's full readiness to provide all facilities and a suitable training environment that enables students to learn about electronic protection systems, bank data security mechanisms, and the latest technologies used in countering cyberattacks.

Dr. Yousef Al-Sabah explained that this step comes as part of the college's plan to build effective partnerships with the private sector and equip students with labor market skills before graduation. He praised the bank management's cooperation and their keenness to support public university education outcomes, as well as their readiness to provide job opportunities for Hajjah University graduates.

For his part, Eng. Ayman Al-Ba'adani praised the caliber of Hajjah University students, confirming that the Bank of Yemen and Kuwait always opens its doors to young talent and seeks to be a key partner in qualifying national personnel capable of protecting the cyberspace of financial institutions.
