Hajjah University received a batch of devices and tools for the Physiotherapy Department lab at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, provided by Handicap International as part of efforts to support the health education sector and qualify medical cadres.
The handover ceremony took place in the presence of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hamid, the Dean of the Training and Community Service Center, Dr. Huda Qashwa, the Dean of the Translation and Languages Center, Dr. Mustafa Al-Hamzi, the representative of Handicap International, Dr. Ahmed Al-Madhwahi, the Director of the Office of the Director General of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, Mr. Fuad Nassar, and the Directors General of the University President's Office, Mr. Hashid Al-Mahmari, and Public Relations and Media, Mr. Majed Reban.
The Vice President praised the support provided by the organization, emphasizing that these equipments will contribute to raising the efficiency of the educational and training process for students of the Physiotherapy Department and enabling them to acquire practical skills according to modern academic standards.
For his part, the representative of Handicap International, Dr. Ahmed Al-Madhwahi, confirmed the continuation of their partnership with the university to support health programs and qualify specialized cadres in the field of rehabilitation and physiotherapy, which positively reflects on the quality of health services provided to the community.
The delivered tools included modern clinical training devices and equipment that would enhance the practical aspect for students of the department and link theoretical study with practical practice.
