Speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia and Law - Hajjah University

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his pure family, and his noble companions. Praise be to God, who taught by the pen, taught man what he did not know.

First, on my own behalf and on behalf of the faculty, staff, and students of the College of Sharia and Law, I welcome you to the official website of the college.

I would like to highlight the importance of establishing the College of Sharia and Law at Hajjah University. As we know, since its establishment on the 12th of Jumada al-Thani 1429 AH (June 16, 2008), Hajjah University has worked to create various colleges and educational programs to meet the needs of the community and the job market in the Republic of Yemen. This was in response to the demands of the local community for the establishment of the College of Sharia and Law at Hajjah University.

Therefore, the university leadership at that time deemed it necessary to establish this college, and University President's Decree No. (39/2021) was issued. The college, with its Sharia and Law program, stems from a comprehensive vision to develop education and prepare graduates capable of contributing effectively, both academically and practically, to building this nation.

The college continues to fulfill its assigned role according to a strategic plan, a defined vision, a clear mission, and lofty goals, in line with the strategic plan of Hajjah University and in accordance with its vision, mission, and objectives, and in compliance with quality assurance and academic accreditation standards.

In conclusion, we ask God Almighty for success and guidance, that He bless our efforts, and that He make our work purely for His sake and in service to knowledge and the nation.

Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
